i've a very wild but possible suggestion for our newly crowned olympic medalists to show their patriotism towards singapore:

to show to all fellow singaporeans that you are truly winning the medal for the sake of singapore (and not for the $$$) and for the copportunity given to you all to excel, why not donate all (or 90%) of the cash rewards to any charity of your choice?


i will salute you all can do that, and i believe our fellow singaporeans will have a changed perspective towards you all =)
