one of my current colleagues, commonly called as "fatty" by another of my colleague, reminds me of another colleague, ah soh, which i have when i was back in NEA.. that guy was in his late 30s i guess, married with 2 kids. everyday he comes to work with his sleepy eyes but always with a grin on his face, and always ready to crack a few jokes to break the silence. from the 6 months i know him, he was a very family oriented man. he wasn't that ambitious to upgrade his diploma to a degree, he also isn't the kind of people who will go and impress his bosses so as to gain recognition, but if you entrust anything to him, he will willingly ensure that the task is done well without much complains. to him, his priority is his family. work to him is just something he has to do, and at the end of the day bring home the paycheck to feed everyone under the roof. life is just so simple for him, and thats probably the kind of life he chose...

and i wish i could be like him...
