are singaporeans really that selfish?
 
newspapers have repeatedly reported that visitors from other countries have criticised singaporeans that we are selfish and inconsiderate.
 
but look at the recent report that 2 teenagers have been cheated of their mobilephones after being kind to lend them to some foreign people from the world's highest populated country (pardon me but i dun have very good impression of them anyway), i'm beginning to wonder is it worthwhile to be so kind after all? what have their kindness turned out to?
 
no no... of coz i encourage people to be kind and helpful to everyone who is really in need. we should do whatever we can to help others. however, these scums really exploit our kindness! how do we know if the next person we are helping belongs to the same family as these scums?
 
i guess we really need to exercise care... especially towards those people from the world's highest populated country...
