my brother is a BLOODY IDIOT!

i dunno how on earth there is such a bloody idiot fellow and worst of all he is living under the same roof as me. ever since i got my wireless network setup at home, i'm constantly a victim of the technological breakthrough at home. bec i'm using a wireless equipped lappy and my bro is using a desktop, naturally the power switch for the modem and router is at the other room with the desktop.

here comes the problem: my bloody idiot brother will always switch off his pc after use TOGETHER with the modem and router, while i'm still using it! he jolly well knows that i'm using the net EVERYDAY at night w/o fail!!! even my mum reminded him many times that i'm using at night so never switch off the modem and router. for the 1st few times i did warned with about it and ask him to check out if i'm using before switching off but my 'gentle reminder' did not managed to get into his pea brain. for the past 3 days straight he switched off the router and modem while i'm still using the net. bloody hell!

the problem with him switching off is not only my msn and icq dun work. i dun mind if i juz need to reconnect and it can be used again. the problem is once the power for the modem and router is switched off and on again, i cannot reconnect to the net, probably bec another ip address may have been given to me and my lappy cannot remove the old one, even though it says i'm connected to my wireless network! to solve this problem i have to restart my lappy everytime it happens and its getting on my nerves! i always storm out of my room and only then his pea brain starts to remind him that he forgotten something! bloody hell! he always makes me more angry by cooking up bloody lame excuses and he gave one bloody lame one juz now by saying "i wana save electricity mah..." KNN!! he use the pc for the whole day is not waste electricity huh whereas i use for 2 hrs then is a waste? guess he even forgotten who pays for the broadband service every month.. idiot!

i gave him my FINAL warning juz now... if he ever switch off the power for modem and router again while i'm surfing the net he will kiss goodbye about using the pc for a week. yes. i mean it this time. i cannot tolerate his bo chap behaviour about everything. everytime i remind him that he should not do this and that he will always say he knows and things like that but he will NEVER forget to commit the same mistakes again. according to the reinforcement theory, a undesirable behaviour will stop once a punishment is given although there is no guarantee tat it will not occur again. i guess my 'gentle reminder' is not a punishment that is harsh enough to make it a deep impression in his pea brain. i shall make it 'memorable' for him this time round.

he needs to be taught a lesson and my best way to do it is to cut off his pc usage.

i shall see tomolo if he commit the same mistake again.. and i bet he will be do it again within the next 3 days...
