haha yesterday there was a blackout in ntu! yah.. i was sleeping (yeah.. I AM SLEEPING...AND WHATS WRONG WITH SLEEPING EARLY??) and at about 1130pm i was woken up by my roomie and heard a commotion outside. i thought that there is a birthday celebration or what but to my horror the whole place went black. no street lamps, no fans, no lights... damn.. my pc was on when the blackout happened! (best is my battery was taken out... -_______-") well... the place suddenly came to live as everyone crowd around the corridors, chatting away and making noise, and i thought its a socialising nite hehe! its only later then i realise that it occur to the whole ntu as well as various parts of singapore! wow! O.O

anyway power was restored by 0010 and everything was back to normal....

its back to the moral of the story again time! from the papers, the cause of this blackout is traced to a line shorted to the ground at the CCK substation. ok... its very technical again and guess all power engineers and power engineering students will understand why the impact is so massive. for the layman just take it as a blackout k? you all dun lose anything anyway. =) this is the 2nd time within 1/2 a year that singapore has a massive blackout. i wonder how the maintenance team at singapore power will answer to their boss(es) this time round.. guess they really need new blood (like me!!!) to replace those old and hag engineers there who are over complacent not doing their job well.. hmm...

HIRE ME!! why? coz i got an A for electricity utilisation systems! so... please?
