as i'm eating the "ku chai kuey" made by my mum for the first time, i can't help but to remember the times when i'm eating those made by my grandma. my grandma has a pair of brilliant hands tat can make one of the best ku chai kuey on earth as well as meat dumplings. still remember in the past that i'll always ask her to keep some for me when she is making them to be sold. its sad tat i dun think i'll ever get to eat them anymore as grandma is not as strong as before as age is catching up on her.... its ok tat i dun eat them, as long as she is healthy, strong and free from any illness tat is keeping her away from enjoying herelf. yup.. tats my wish....
