after much await, i've finally start my blading training today at east coast with another 4 of my friends. weather is kinda good as there is not much rain. went to the bicycle shop next to the mcdonalds to rent my blade. $7 for 1st hr and subsequent hr is $5, till a max of $20 for the whole day. package comes with free socks and protective gears and some basics by the shop keeper on how to wear the stuffs. quite a friendly guy actually. after gearing up, one of my fren starts to guide the other 4 of us the basics of blading and here we are off to wander ourselves. quite scared to move initially but i managed to pick up my courage to move forward. of coz "bravery" comes at a price. hahahaha i land on my bon bon hard for not less than 5 times. i dun mind the fall, juz treat it as a learning experience. still remembered the good old days when i start learning how to ride my bicycle on 2 wheels. if i did not curb my fear of falling, i wun have been able to learn how to ride a 2 wheel bicycle. this little story of my own is the driving force for mi todae when i learn blading: do not be afraid of falling. even if i do, juz stand up and try again. if i scared of falling and don't learn, i'll never be able to learn. i feel that God is trying to tell me to stand up from the failures of my exam thru this event. if i learn my stuffs well, i can do it. if i fail one and is having the fear, i'll never succeed. yes, after training for abt 3 hours, i feel that i've managed to know the basics of blading and just another training or two i shall be fine with my new learnt skills.
but ...but ...but..... cannot tahanz.....the blades are fooking smelly!!!!! wah kaozz!!!! the socks that i wear stinks like hell!!!! if i'm going to blade again i guess i'll get my own blades... realli cannot stand the smell...."atheletes foot"...ARRRGHHHH!!!!!
