the recent gst hike of 2% has encouraged the mixed vegetables rice stall below my office to make some price adjustment...

before 01 july 2007:
1 meat + 2 vegetables = $2.70

after 01 july 2007:
1 meat + 2 vegetables = $2.80

percentage of price increase:
(2.80-2.70)*100/2.8 = 3.57%!!!


the portion has become smaller and the price higher... pui!!

i'll boycott this stall from now onwards! =((
