just back from watching the ndp preview fireworks and my verdict is that as compared to last year's singapore fireworks festival, its pretty lousy... yes, i've to agree that the organisers tried to be different by setting off fireworks at a few locations, but that simply diverts my attention and plays no part in making it consistent and impressive.. furthermore the choice of fireworks and the orchestra of it really lags behind what i've seen @ last year's fireworks festival..

okok.. maybe i'm demanding too much.. or that i shall not compare the local production from mindef with the professionals overseas.. or that since its only the preview so i shall expect something even better on the actual day itself..
