consider the following:

1. you have the chance/capacity to achieve something but you didn't do it...
2. you didn't have the chance /capacity to achieve something so you cannot do it...

whats the difference between the two sentences above at the end of the day?









none. both are the same, ie you didn't achieve anything.

its just like you can be a doctor with your good results but you decided not to pursue it and ended up being an engineer. its no point showing off to others that you can be somebody but you chose otherwise. coz at the end of the day, you are still an engineer yah? so what if you can be a doctor?

understand my analogy?

its not about can or cannot.. but its about did you or did you not...
