today's interview is pretty ok. no technical questions asked, just some general questions about my work previously. guess the technical manager is trying to test if what i'm doing previously is applicable in this position.
later part of the session is discussion with the hr manager on my remuneration package. looking at what i'm currently earning, she puts a 10% increment on my pay.... i was almost going to spout out: HELLO?!?! 10%??? is it a joke or what?! u think i'll want to join u for that extra 10%? its not as thou i'm out of job or what leh mdm.. u want me to join u also must give me some 'pull' factors mah, and the 10% increment is surely not enough to pull me coz i'll take almost double the time for travelling, parking at the office may not be free, working hours is 1/2hr longer daily...
ok.. at least she sort of realise that she is abit stingy as she keeps on asking again what i want, and i quoted about 20% higher. she was taken aback abit and keeps on saying that i'm young lah, and that $100 extra or not isn't going to make a difference lah, career opportunity and learning is more important lah, etc etc..
she thinks that i'm a new graduate ah.. what career opportunites and bullshit.. all these are intangibles and you can say whatever craps that you want to bluff me.
only money is the most practical and real..
