its been sometime since i'm in a dilemma again..

i think i mentioned before in one of my posts earlier that a job agency approached me. this afternoon i received a call from the same person who called me earlier and he said that i was shortlisted for an interview with his client. i guess the industry is really small, just from the location alone i've guessed the company correctly and i'm scheduled for an interview next tuesday..

oh well, i'm actually not that interested but i view it as a chance to see how much i am worth currently..

at the same time, my boss showed me an email which she wrote to her boss, recommending me to be in-charge of all future nuclear projects, and as a result of this, she wanted to send me to france for training!

okok before i carry on.. both events above are NOT confirmed in anyway, ie i may not be wanted by that company and i may not be going to france..

now its like i dunno should i stay or leave..

why i will leave:
- my current pay really doesn't match my education level
- the increment every year is really peanuts
- promotional prospects are not really looking well. imagine is there really space for a total of 5 senior engineers out of a team of 8?
- doing what i've been trained and doing for 2 yrs in ex-coy

why i may stay:
- potential to train in france
- potential to stand out among my teammates by handling a niche area
- bosses and colleagues and working environment are good
- the new working place is in the east! far for me thou i drive

the new position is doing what i'm trained during my undergraduate days and its almost the same things i'm handling while at my ex-coy. one of the reasons why i left my ex-coy is that i want to leave the industry and now going back doesn't seems to make sense..

i'm confused..

but anyway i'll still go for the interview then see how.. hope things will get clearer by then..
