here is the short itinerary of my taipei trip from 30/12/06 to 3/1/07....


30/12:
touchdown taoyuan airport at 6pm. can feel the chill already in the airport..

reach the hostel at 730pm, do the necessary check-in registration and head to 士林夜市 which is just 10mins walk away from the hostel! aweeee~

first thing whack the famous 豪大碳烤鸡排! suupppper BIG! nice!

next in line is the 臭豆腐！sedap! soooo much nicer than the ones i ate in singapore. u know eat liao hor the smelly smell of the tofu can last in the mouth till i swallow it!


giving a cheeky face before i eat up the heavenly 臭豆腐! ahhhh~~~~


not forgetting the 蚝仔煎.. so many oysters for only S$2!!

also tried the authentic 泡泡茶！almost the same in singapore but the pearls are very small, very easy to suck them from the cup =)

still got a cup of strawberries with condensed milk, 士林水煎包, ....

there is this interesting roadside stall where its very crowded and filled with people in this weird position with a candle thingy sticking out of their ear..



its said that this thingy can remove the ear wax effectively.. dunno how true or not..


after a hearty meal, its time for shopping at the ever famous 士林夜市! its something like the pasar malam in singapore but very much more interesting...

walk till 2am before heading back to the hostel for a good night rest =) yes.. their night market open till about 3am..
