i believe that each of us has a life that is like a bowl.
an ordinary bowl.
as time passes by, we fill our bowls with our needs, our wants, our inspirations, our expectations, our career, our friends, our family, our desires, our goals, our happiness, our laughters, our sorrows, our pain, our tears, our memories...
but the bowl is limited in size. it can only hold that much and soon the bowl will be full. so will you like your bowl to be filled with happiness, or full of sorrows? you decide..
when the bowl can no longer contain anything more without giving up something in it, its time we throw out whatever we feel is not important out of the bowl. for instance, for some people out there, career may be the most important thing at this instance that its such a big piece. to contain it, we throw out those that we thought we can give up temporary, such as our friends, our hobbies, even our love ones.. as we assume that they will be where we last left them. one day, we will go back to them or they will come back to us..
the problem is that those that were thrown out or never placed into the bowl never remain where they are. they will no longer be there when we want them again. they drift away over time. they may be picked up by others who view them as important and these people hang on to them dearly, because they know the importance of them..
for me, i've reserved a big place for something which i'm still waiting for..
