i salute to the late mr heng yeow peow. his unreserved passion for his workers was the reason why we should really be proud as fellow singaporeans. on that faithful day he actually had the chance to escape death. however, he went back into the pit and used his whistle to warn his thai workers about the danger, which later led to his own burial. if not for him, how many more broken hearts will there be? i feel sad for his wife and 2 children. i believe its difficult for them to hide their grieve as its juz overnight that they lost their most beloved husband, father. one thing they should be comforted is that the late mr heng died so that many could live, and that is one of the greatest thing that a man could do for the others. i believe many other fellow singaporeans will remember in our hearts what he did to do us proud.

i salute you again mr heng! you are singaporeans' hero!
