did i mentioned that i'll be going for an interview later in the morning? wat a time for an interview right where friday is my next paper. anyway thanks to sandy for the recommendation! *hugzz* (will treat u if i get the job) funny thing is my interviewer actually ask me when i'm free this week to go down and i tell her that i'm having my exam these 2 weeks.. but dunno if she is realli impressed by my resume (or totally disgusted by it but juz wana see how disgusting i'm in person ) or sandy's recommendation is soooooo good or that they realli desperate for staff (which i doubt so) that she actually ask me to go down yesterday, where i got tuition. anyway her reason (i didn't ask for it..she tells me herself) is that she wants to grant me an interview first so that she can start to shortlist pple... hmmm....

wish me luck k! dun worry, i'll use my 100MW dazzling smile to "seduce" her... wahahahha!
will update you all later when i get back! =D

-------------------------------------------------------------

here is the update for the interview.

from sandy, she says that the interviewer is the manager's PA? ok... she ask me typical questions lor like "what are your strengths? what are your weakness? how will you react if the customer say blah blah and want blah blah? when can you start work? ..." she is not the technical person so no technical questions from her. anyway she got 2 positions for me: one is sales executive and the other is work in the project team. well... the impression that she gave me was that the 2 positions dun need a graduate to fill up, at least i feel that they dun need an engineering graduate to do it. for the sales i think anyone can do it whereas for the projct team i think they need a poly grad more than me. anyway she says that she will consider me and give me a call if i'm shortlisted for either job. ok.. i'll just wait.

oh yah did i mentioned about the salary and benefits? ok she says that i'll have 14 days leave + medical benefits. alrite that is quite standard for all companies nowadays. so the million dollar question is "what is the pay?" hmm... before i start let me tell you the working hours. mon-sat 11am-8pm and sun 12-6pm. off day is one weekday per week and a choice of 1 weekend off per month. so basically is a 6 days job. okok... i know you all are anxiously waiting for the answer. how about you people think in ur mind what salary you are expecting for the working hours as i mentioned? give u all 10 seconds.

9 sec left..

5 sec left..

1 sec left..

ok time up. the answer is "i'll give you starting of $1.8k". frankly speaking, my face is ----> when i listen to the quote. i dunno m i asking too much or wat but $1.8k for an engineering graduate i think is really too low. i mean i dun mind starting lower but there is a minimum i'll go for. even poly grads can earn as much then WTF i study so much and pay so much for school fees? hey! i owe NTU $20k for school fees u know? not $2k!!! if the pay is lower but the working hours shorter or less days then i may not mind also but this job is 6 days work and the working hours are realli bad. its not like i work from 9-6pm where after that i can have my social activities. the working hours is realli like i'm living for work and thats it. other than work is sleep and work again. i want a life, not just work! aiyah i dunno lah... i just feel that i've been cheated by everyone who tell me to study as much as i can. WhoTheFuck says that getting a degree will earn you a decent living? FUCK you!

oh yah... did i mentioned that the 1st 3 mths will get $200 deducted? OMG!! $1.6k... *munch grass + drink air*

sandy if u see what i write please dun get angry. i appreciate your help really... but really the job is too demanding.. unless realli no choice *touchwood* or they willing to offer me a better deal i think i'll just have to give it up.. yah u did mention that there is OT of at least an hr everyday and it can add another $200-$300 per month but that is at the expense of my time u see?
