my lecturer was talking about this in class just now.

"i design the contents of this course. i'm the one that will determine whether you should be rewarded or be penalised. you should not be the one talking terms with me..."

now i know why people like to be in power. i also understand why people like to show to the others that they are in power. it gives them the feeling of being high up on top. it gives them the ability to make someone they like to get something good from them. else they will crush u like an ant if they don't like u. it makes them feel that they are the greatest and othrs are simply slaves to what they say. should i even mention that some become their dogs? you bark i give u a good grade and the poor dog bark.

its life isn't it?

school is just another work place. people get paid to work (as lecturers). they are like managers. we students are like workers, small fry under them. you better listen to what your managers say or else he/she will make your life miserable. what they say we have to do. we cannot rebutt them. if u do they will make sure you are humiliated infront of everyone to show his power. otherwise if u manage to pin them down, they will remember your face and that's it: a bad grade. so who say school is a protected place? who says school is a sacred place? you try to question your lecturer and see what he will do to you.... try to tell him that what he want you to do for assignment/projects doesn't make any sense and that's it...

the world is a very very dark place....
